With your help\, LIISMA will be able to respond to the threat of invasive species more quickly and get to work removing them. This program is perfect for community members at all skill levels\, as we will teach you everything you need to know to get started.\n\n\n\n\nVolunteers will: \n\n\n\n\nWork independently and receive guidance from LIISMA staff\n\n\n\nLearn to identify the highest-priority invasive plants in the region\n\n\n\nScout trails\, waterways\, and urban areas for priority species\n\n\n\nReport presence and absence on iMapInvasives\n\n\n\nFill LIISMA in on progress with a google form\n\n\n\n\nWhy become an invasive species volunteer? \n\n\n\n\nMake a positive impact (protect biodiversity!)\n\n\n\nGet outside more\n\n\n\nConnect with professionals\n\n\n\nBuild your resume\n\n\n\nConnect with likeminded people\n\n\n\nImprove your wellbeing\n\n\n\nGet community service hours\n\n\n\nWin prizes!\n\n\n\n\nWhat if I am a professional or volunteer for another org? \n\n\n\n\nOther professionals and volunteers groups can get involved\, too! If volunteers are cross-trained with LIISMA\, they can incorporate invasive species surveying into all kinds of conservation work.\n\n\n\n\nRegister below to start your quest as an Invasive Species Spotter! \n\n\n\nRegister here.
