Save the date for LIISMA’s next in-person Partners Meeting and Workshop on Friday, September 18, 2026, hosted at the Marine Nature Study Area in Oceanside, NY. The program will feature a LIISMA spotlight on Phragmites management at Sears Bellows County Park, followed by a live demonstration from Arden Blumenthal of the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference (NYNJTC) showcasing how conservation dogs detect invasive species in the field. The event will also include a guided tour of the preserve led by Conservation Biologist Michael Farina. Attendance is in person only, and guests are encouraged to dress for outdoor weather.
